This apartment on Fantastic Frank kind of spoke to me and I wanted to share it with you. There are lot of elements I like here. It’s nice and airy for a start. It has the beautiful white long curtains I like so much. It even has the IKEA Stockholm cabinet I’ve been wanting to buy for so long. It’s a shame, it’s not in stock. The cabinet would be perfect here. I can’t seem to find anything like it, so it you know an alternative please let me know.
This apartment though has beautiful light and lovely Autumn colours. I like the way it has been styled. Natural tones mixed with nice art and grasses. I wouldn’t mind some of these coffee table books. The Alvar Aalto book is definitely on my Christmas wish list.
The introduction of colour is clever. I think people often want everything in a specific colour and then they end up over-using it. Here it’s been done tastefully.
So this was a new thing to me. If you don’t happen to have beautiful pampas grass growing in the garden, there’s an alternative. I recently found out that you can buy it on Etsy! Yes, it’s true!

On another note, I could do with some of this light just now. It’s so dark here. I’m seriously considering Velux roof lights, especially for our living room. Wouldn’t these be just amazing?
