It’s all about velvet just now, so I thought it would be nice to add a touch of velvet to my gifts this year. I’ve created some festive wrapping inspiration for you with velvet ribbons in brown. I picked up some inexpensive velvet ribbons on Etsy and I’ve added personalised gift tags from Inkifi. I had some photos printed from recent trips and have used them as little cards. They give you a bit more space to write a special message too.
I’ve been using white wrapping paper for years. It’s been really hard to find, but this year it’s easy as you can get it in IKEA. Simply attach the ribbon with some tape on the under side and wrap it around the present a few times, then attached the other end with tape too. I tried tying the velvet ribbon, but because there’s only velvet on one side, I thought this looked nicer.
