Whilst visiting Lagos, Portugal I noticed that something had changed from when we last were there. I instantly fell for new Avenida Hotel and made a quite stop to take some photos. I would love to stay at this hotel one day. It’s stunning. Located in central Lagos, this hotel looks peaceful and relaxing. As it was very hot outside, it was refreshing to come in to a cool and mindful setting. I literally came straight from the beach, which is only a 7 minute walk away.
Beautiful white linen sofas and curtains paired with straw lampshades, makes this design hotel stand out to other hotels I’ve seen in Portugal. I definitely need curtains like these in my life.
I wouldn’t mind relaxing here for a while with a nice cold drink. The restaurant next door looked beautiful too. The curtains separate the two areas and there’s a bar at the back. The food menu looked great and wasn’t as pricey as I thought it might be. I will definitely be booking a table here next time we’re in Lagos.
If you’re wondering what Avenida means, it’s Avenue. A perfect name in my opinion.
I didn’t see the bedrooms, but I got to visit the outdoor space and it’s stunning! With an amazing pool overlooking the marina and minimal white sun loungers, it looked like a nice place to spend your holiday. There was somebody in the very inviting pool while I was there (yes I felt like jumping straight it!), so I didn’t want to be rude and take photos. You can see it on the top of the hotel. What a roof terrace! 10 out of 10!
