Tips for travelling with hand luggage only

6/25/2017

I’m in serious holiday mood and can’t wait to travel to a hot country soon. I wanted to give you a couple of tips for travelling with hand luggage only. I’m concentrating mostly on accessories this year. It’s not normally something I would do, as I don’t tend to wear a lot of accessories. But for ones I’ve decided to go crazy with big earrings and cool sunglasses. My clothes are light dresses for the most part and yes, most of them are black, white and grey. I’ve got a nice dress from And Other Stories and one from Whistles. The rest of my dresses and bikinis are from H&M. With different accessories and sandals, my dresses can be used both during the day and in the evenings. I’m bringing 3 pairs of sandals. This will all fit no problem in my hand luggage, so I don’t have to worry too much about not having enough space. Another trick is to wear anything bulky or heavy.. ! Turn up at the airport with a jumper around your waist and wear the shoes that take the most space.

I’ve got some magazines that I haven’t read yet, so I’m looking forward to spending some time reading on the beach. Cereal magazine is my top choice. I always pick up a book at the airport, so I’m looking forward to actually reading a book while I’m away.

I use my iPhone quite a lot, so I’ve made sure I’ve got what I need for charging it when I’m out and about. Do you always end up walking a lot of holiday? We seem to walk for miles every day, but that’s a good thing. I’m trying to do my 10 000 steps every day, so extra walking is just a bonus.

So, for my phone I wanted to make sure that everything was compact and won’t take up too much space in my hand luggage bag. I have got a slim grid portable power charger from Urban Outfitters. It not only looks good, but also charges my phone really quickly as well as being really small. Did you see my Native Union leather tag cable? It loops around my bag handle, so I’ve always got it with me.  It’s super handy and great as it doesn’t take up much space.

I might not normally wear a hat, but I think it’s allowed on the beach when it’s really hot, don’t you agree? I picked this one up last time I was in Spain. So the key for travelling with hand luggage only is to accessorise and keep everything else to a minimum.
