Bo Concept have created the most stunning natural Nordic Christmas styling this year and I couldn’t wait to share the look with you. It’s a festive look that’s intimate with a sense of occasion that’s just right for where we are in the world now. We crave comfort.
There’s so much inspiration to weave into your own home festive styling and it’s all based on subtle textures and soothing neutral tones.
Elegant Neutral Festive Style
Let’s take a minute to talk about that stunning pampas grass cloud, shall we? This breathtaking centrepiece artfully suspended over the Christmas table draws the eye up, leaving space on the table for entertaining. The best thing about floral clouds, which you may have seen popping up on Instagram over the past year, is that they’re easier to make than you think. BoConcept has a brilliant Cloud DIY on their inspiration pages if you’d like to try it yourself.
Using dried flowers or grasses on your Christmas table creates a sense of occasion without taking over. I definitely prefer muted natural colours for the festive season, I find traditional reds and glitzy golds too much for my taste. Instead, I like to start with a neutral coloured linen tablecloth in light grey or oatmeal. This gives you a crisp base to build on. From here you could continue with a tonal theme and dress your plates with a small bunch of dried white flowers and linen napkins. To add contrast and depth of colour, I might use a grouping of Pillars dishes on the table filled with winter fruits like figs and pomegranates.
I’ve styled some of the beautiful pieces from the accessories range in my home. I’ve kept it very minimal and understated and let the sculptural vases and bowls speak for themselves. They are tactile and contemporary at the same time.
You can find all these stunning pieces in the accessories collection.

Custom Fabric Upholstery Service
The chic Princeton dining chairs you see in these images above are designed by Morten Georgsen and upholstered in boucle style White Lazio fabric (6090). It’s a sophisticated and on-trend choice of upholstery, but if you love the style of the chair and want to change the colour, you can. The BoConcept collection has been designed with the option to choose your own fabrics and colourways. This is a great way to make your home a reflection of your own style and personality. They even have fabric samples you can order for free.
Bo Concept Free design service
Did you know that BoConcept Scotland also offers a free interior styling service to help you with your home? Whether it’s an entire house or a small corner, the team of interior consultants are on hand virtually or in-store to advise with colours, fabrics and concepts. Taking the overwhelming feeling out of the equation, your own personal consultant can help with colour schemes, furniture options, floor plans and layouts.
Whether it’s online, in-store or in your own home, they make themselves available to you, however you feel comfortable working. You can book in a design consultation, discuss your needs and wants from your space and your consultant will help guide you through the rest of the journey.
I urge you to spend some time exploring BoConcept’s inspiration pages. They’re packed full of great ideas, from Nordic baked treats to make at home to DIY Hans C. Andersen paper cut decorations. Will you be going for a neutral and tonal Christmas style this year? Or more of a Natural Nordic Christmas?
