New home and neutral colours

10/17/2016

So much has happened since my last blog post. I’ve been to Munich, London and Antwerp. We’ve finally sold our house in France and bought a new one in Scotland. We can’t wait to get the keys! I’ve decided not to you show you anything yet and I’m planning to set up a YouTube channel so you can follow the renovations. Of course we didn’t buy a home you can move straight into, we bought one that needs a lot of work. So at the moment I’m on a high from being on an amazing bloggers design tour of Antwerp and looking for inspiration for our new home. We saw the nicest minimal swing lamp in Antwerp (I’ll show you soon), so that’s definitely on my wishlist. We’re not quite in the decorating stages yet of course, so I guess things like new radiators, paint and a wooden floors will come first. There’s so much to do, but it’s an exciting project.

I think these neutral colours would look great, as we’ll have lots of nice big windows in our new home. Our plants are going to love it and I think we will too. I’ll be setting up some new Pinterest boards for our new home. I find it easy to be too broad on Pinterest, so I will try to stick to a specific style for each room. No doubt all the rooms will be quite neutral, but I also like some shades of blue from my Blue Trend board. We’ll see. There are a lot of decicions to make. We have over a month before we get the keys, so there’s plenty of pinning time!

So exciting times, dear Hege! I could only imagine what pleasure a new house is for a decorating addict (and also hard as there are so many nice things and styles to choose from and you can’t bring it all to one house….)
Best of luck finding the right decisions and I’m sure it will look fab in the end 🙂
