Nordic apartment Airbnb Carcassonne Le Cite

We’re just back from a few days in lovely Carcassonne, France and I wanted to show you our carefully chosen Airbnb. Yes, I spend ages choosing a place. You too?! When we travel as a family, we much prefer to book an apartment rather than a hotel. It’s so nice to have more space, especially if we’re staying for a few nights.

This particular apartment felt very Nordic and it even had a few green plants. My son has obliviously been listening to me, as he shouted out look there’s a Monstera plant. 😉 Just below Le Cite and within walking distance to the town, this apartment was prefect for us.

With two bedroom and space for 4, this is an ideal apartment for a family. The stairs were a little steep, but in an old house, that comes with the charm right?! Newly renovated, with style, this apartment stood out whilst searching. I mean, you’ve got to love the kitchen floor.

All the amenities were there, even a bottle of local wine. No complaints here. What do you think? Great isn’t it?!

If you’re planning a visit to Carcasonne and need a place to stay, you can book the apartment here. To get £25 in credit to use on any Airbnb use this link. Our host Laure was lovely. I’ll write a bit more about the places we visited soon. I mostly took photos of buildings and signs of Spring. That and the odd coffee.. love the coffee in France.

In the post, Milk magazine, black dress from Hush, notebook and the grid tote bag with leather strap are both from 5mm paper. Get similar botanical prints from Desenio.
